1942 Vintage & very very Rare 73 y ear old WW11 Cardboard lunchbox & thermos in original Unused Nr Mint condition & Issued by Lander Frary & Clark (Universal). This set is in Nr Mint Unused condition & complete with the Ultra Rare matching thermos, cardboard insert & thermos wrap just as it was when it was sold in 1942. This set is very well known to hardcore lunchbox collectors as it was designed for WarTime & made of cardboard & the thermos is even more amazing as it's like a paper mache with a glass top & liner. The clasps are a type of tin & they were sure to use no Metals in the manufacturing of this very rare set !!! That said i have never seen another set complete with the very very rare matching thermos with the wrap still present ....this set is Old Store Stock !!! The lunchbox has the lightest of wear on the corners from storage & the cork has split in halve but again being made of cardboard is in Amazing condition & i can tell you that sooo few of these have survived let alone with the matching thermos & this Rare set is very desired by both lunchbox & WWII Collectors alike & you will NOT FIND this lunchbox set listed in any guides as it's just that Rare !!! A piece of Lunchbox & wartime history this is 1 set that belongs in a museum !!!! A must for the vintage lunchbox or WW11 collector that wants RARE !!!
